hallion architects were commissioned to act as the local contact tasked with delivering the concept design provided by Jones the Grocer head offices’ preferred design practice.
the main challenge was to evaluate the design and adapt it to enable the works to be carried out wihtout a Building Consent. once the appropriate documentation was produced, we negotiated with Auckland Council and applied for an exemption from a Building Consent. this enabled the project to be delivered in a total of 8 weeks including documentation.
