Completed in 2013, this commission was to upgrade the entrance experience to both the Huawei tower and Crowne plaza hotel complex on Albert street.

By greatly simplifying the overall composition, using a ‘shared space’ streetscape and strong but simple design components to subtly split the facade into discrete areas, we managed to unify the whole.

The image of both the hotel and office building has been dramatically altered and better tied the development into the evolving urban landscape of the CBD.
 

This transformation has allowed the owners to attract a number of new tenants and

retain existing tenants in an extremely competitive commercial leasing market.
